Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address four public rallies in poll bound-Karnataka on Saturday.

While the Congress is trying desperately hold on to power in the southern state, the BJP is out to oust the party.

The Reddy brothers - MLAs and ministers during the earlier BJP government in Karnataka - have been accused of conducting large scale illegal mining across the iron-ore-rich district of Bellary. "If Karnataka goes, what will happen to the leaders in Delhi", said the Prime Minister.

Narendra Modi yet again emphasised on the fact that the Congress was a sleeping government in Karnataka. Congress has alleged that eight "Reddy Gang" members have been given tickets for the assembly elections.

Karnataka is the only big state besides Punjab where Congress has a government.

On an alliance controversy with JD (S) PM Modi said, " Who can deny that there is a collision between JD (S) and Cong when they are fighting in Tumukura but are in alliance in Bangalore Municipal Corporation. A few days later, PM Modi responded by challenging him to speak on the achievements of the Siddaramaiah government for 15 minutes, without referring to paper notes, and in whichever language he was comfortable with - Hindi, English, or his mother Sonia's mother tongue Italian. "Those who did not know whether the groundnuts bear fruits under the ground or above talk about the uplifting the farmers", he indirectly chided the AICC president Rahul Gandhi.

Hitting out at Gandhi, Shah said, "I heard the statement of Rahul baba that his party is going to form the government in Madhya Pradesh. They should stop making fool out of people of Tumukuru and Karnataka".

Ballari is just 50km from Molakalmuru constituency where Janardhana Reddy has been campaigining for his friend B.Sriramulu, a BJP candidate.

The Prime Minister had said that despite Deve Gowda opposing him, when he came to Karnataka for campaigning during the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, the JD (S) leader should live for 100 years and serve the society.

"People who can't differentiate between red green chilly, and claim to produce gold from potatoes have now started chanting the name of farmers", Modi said.

He said the Congress was spreading "lies" by accusing the BJP of being anti-Dalit, anti-Muslim and anti-women.
