Actress Claire Danes, who has played the lead on Showtime's hit spy show since its Emmy award-winning first season in 2011, asserted that the series would conclude after its upcoming eighth season.

Claire Danes and husband Hugh Dancy are expecting their second child, with Danes sharing the news on Howard Stern's Sirius XM show on Wednesday.

The star of the hit United States drama admitted that she was "really conflicted" that the Central Intelligence Agency thriller would be drawing to a close.

However, he did reveal that, "I will say that in just a pie in the sky, we would all love to take this show back to Israel for that final season". "It's a workout, so I'll be ready for a reprive from that".

"So I'll be ready for a reprieve from that, but I've never done anything this..."

"You're the first person I've told", she said to the radio host but did not elaborate on whether she was having a boy a girl. "I was filming quite a lot but just inadvertently, like, falling asleep all the time". Although a representative for Showtime has said that the network has yet to make an official decision for the show potentially going beyond an eighth season, fans probably want to start preparing themselves for the end. "It was intense. They were massaging my face", she laughed.

"I'm deep into my second trimester", she confessed, admitting that this was her official announcement.

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon airs weeknights at 11:30 p.m. ET on NBC. I was like, 'No, I wasn't up on a coke binge all night!' You just feel like you're a derelict (vagrant) or something. "It was just embarrassing". In 2009 the couple married in France only surrounded by close family and friends. They welcomed son Cyrus, now 5, in December 2012.
