WGNO News with a Twist features guy Wild Bill Wood bumped into Roseanne in Hollywood.

Roseanne Barr says she thought it was important to show how the Conner family deals with the same issues that many American families now face.

Roseanne airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on ABC.

Barr, who counts herself as a Trump supporter, was not able to fully express why she backs the president so intensely.

"Well, George Clooney didn't want to come on", she revealed, referencing his pre-"ER" role as Wellman Plastics supervisor Booker Brooks in the show's first four seasons.

According to a March 27 report by TVLine, the Roseanne revival's executive producer, Whitney Cummings, recently sat down with the site for an interview on their podcast and went into to detail about Johnny Galecki's return as well as David's life since the original series ended.

Joining Roseanne on Roseanne is New Orleans resident and actor John Goodman.

More than two decades since its season 9 finale, the Conner family is set to make their comeback with the premiere of ABC's Roseanne revival Tuesday night. The episode saw Roseanne take digs at Hillary Clinton and the NFL players who took a knee during the national anthem while Jackie - pink p***y hat and "nasty woman" shirt and all - took shots at Trump and Roseanne's love of guns before admitting that she felt bullied by her sister into voting for Jill Stein.

Lecy Goranson stars as Becky Conner-Healy. It reminds me a lot of like when we first started there was nothing on television like our show and it's still that way and I felt like there was a slot for us to come back. He was just six years old when he got the part on the original Roseanne.
