After pretty much revealing the design on Chinese certification website Tenna, we now have more from Chinese e-commerce Suning. Nokia 6 (2018) will be released in two colors: black with gold inserts and white with red inserts. On the front, it has an 8-megapixel camera. Nokia 6 has metal unibody design with matte finish and metallic edge. The Nokia 6 2018 or the Nokia 6 second generation, when you look at it in all its totality, seems like an iterative update to last year's Nokia 6: in looks as well as in terms of hardware specs.

Performance should get an additional boost from the 4GB of RAM that comes as standard (where the original came with either 3GB or 4GB).

Currently, the phone can be pre-ordered in Romania for around 235 Euros but it won't be available until 17 January and they have still not indicated if it will be official in other parts of Europe.

As far as the Nokia 6 (2018)'s imaging capabilities are concerned, it features a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera with phase-detection autofocus (PDAF), 1.0µm pixel size, f/2.0 aperture, and dual-tone LED flash. But you can still expand the storage up to 128GB with the help of a microSD card.

Benchmark GeekBench, posted the results of testing of the new smartphone Nokia 6 (2018), at the moment not yet announced. The model is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC, which is clocked at 2.2GHz, and has 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM. While the 32GB model is available at CNY 1499, the 64GB storage variant will cost CNY 1699. The phones devices use a micro-USB port for charging. The phone has Dual-Sight technology with which users can take simultaneous snaps from front and rear camera, also called Bothie.

There is 4G VoLTE support and the other connectivity options include WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 5, GPS, and USB Type-C that is another change from the predecessor. Introduced a year ago, Dual-Sight technology is also included in the mid-range smartphone.

Unfortunately, the Nokia 6 runs on Android Nougat out-of-the-box, although the company has mentioned it is upgradable.
