While that's not entirely true, as "Infinity Display" is a term for the curved edge-to-edge display on the Galaxy S8 duo.

Samsung is in need of more than a year to copy Apple's recent success and tactic, and may further fall behind its biggest competition. A few days after the launch of the Galaxy S8 and S8+, Samsung even stopped the remapping of the button. The company's 2018 Galaxy A series will be getting that same redesign treatment and leaked renders may have already given fans a look at the new Galaxy A5.

Another notable improvement in the Galaxy S9 that is likely is the inclusion of a dual-camera for the first time.

Samsung has previously been awarded a patent for a radical design that allows a phone to fold in two. Furthermore, the rumored Samsung Galaxy X is expected to feature specs and aesthetics that have never been seen on any other device in the lineup. But of course, Samsung made some refinements here and there, meaning you get much better shots on the S8 compared to the S7. Both smartphones are expected to feature a dedicated key for launching Bixby virtual assistant. Latest reveals suggested the Galaxy S9's chips can not match the power of the A11 Bionic. For the record, this is also the first time in a Galaxy S series line-up that the dual-camera feature is utilized. And not to worry, as the headphone jack is apparently sticking by next year. Sound will improve with the introduction of AKG stereo speakers and Samsung is reportedly working on an upgrade to its DeX dock, which lets owners use their phone as a desktop computer.

The update came close on the heels of the UK Beta Team confirming in response to a query by a user on Samsung Members community that the Android 8.0 Oreo beta 3 would be released soon.

The concept of a foldable phone or tablet since several year with Samsung teasing the tech-lovers every now and then.
