At Walmart, Black Friday starts on Thanksgiving

Those sales will continue before, during, and after Black Friday, as the stores announced their Black Friday hours and sales in a press release Tuesday.

According to Walmart, the majority of its Black Friday deals will be available online. This list will be updated.

Hours: Store hours still haven't been posted for Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday. (Doors officially open at 5 p.m.) That's because there are several huge price cuts on things like consoles, which are sure to go fast. It is also eliminating some of the crowd-control measures it has used in the past, such as handing out wristbands for the most in-demand deal items.

With more online access, early Black Friday 2017 deals starting today and new information, this is what you need to know about Walmart Black Friday this year.

From 6-10 p.m. on Sunday, November 19 - four days ahead of time - members of the Shop Your Way rewards program will be able to take advantage of Sears' and Kmart's Black Friday deals in-store as part of "Members Night". The deals will also be available online throughout the day on November 19 and 20. And while some retailers like Walmart have been open on Thanksgiving for decades, more are following suit to pursue consumers who want to start browsing and spending in between the turkey and pumpkin pie.
