As its name clearly suggests, the GTX 1070 Ti is positioned between NVIDIA's GTX 1070 and GTX 1080 GPUs. In fact, NVIDIA is not real on showcasing performance as it compares to the higher end SKU, but is happy to point out that the GeForce GTX 1070 Ti offers double the performance of the previous generation GeForce GTX 970, and comes out ahead of the GeForce GTX 1070 (based on Nvidia's internal benchmarks). "And our partners have built cards with thermals and power supplies that allow gamers to push performance way past stock specifications", NVIDIA said. With a base price of Dollars 449 (about RM 1902) for the Founder's Edition card, NVIDIA manufacturing partners including ASUS, Colorful, EVGA, Gainward, Galax, GIGABYTE, Inno3D, MSI, Palit, PNY, and ZOTAC will be releasing their own take on GTX 1070 Ti at the same time.
Also, the latest GeForce 10 graphics card supports different NVIDIA technology platforms, namely: Simultaneous Multi-Projection, VR Ready, Ansel Ready, SLI Ready (SLI HB Bridge Supported), G-Sync Ready, Gamestream Ready, 1Microsoft DirectX and Vulkan API Ready. There's a limit of two per customer, and if you're insane enough to pick up a pair, you can also grab an SLI bridge from there for $40.
As you can see from the numbers, the 1070 Ti performs nearly double as compared to the previous generation GTX 970 and this is using DX12. Things have quieted down due to increasing mining difficulty, which has offset the record high valuation of Bitcoin. The new card is equipped with 2432 CUDA cores.
And the base clock speed of 1607MHz is the same as the 1080, though the boost speed is the same as the 1070.
The GeForce GTX 1070 Ti is set to be released on November 2, 2017.
This system uses vapor chamber cooling as and an external design much like its predecessors, using the 1070's 256-bit bus for an overall memory bandwidth of 256GBps as well. GTX 1070 Ti is rated at 180 W and it can be added using PCIe 3.0 connectors.
