Two killed in campus shooting at university in Louisiana

Sutton says there was some sort of altercation before the shooting between an unknown suspect and the two men.

A gunman is at large following a shooting at Grambling State University, which occurred just after midnight on Wednesday. The victims have been reportedly recognized as Earl Andrews a Grambling State University senior and Monquiarius Caldwell, who was not a student at the university.

The presume fled the scene, as indicated by the Lincoln Parish Sheriff's Department, which said it doesn't trust the suspect was a GSU understudy.


During Howard University's homecoming weekend recently, students feared for their safety after an active shooter report.

They also think there was an altercation in a dorm room that led to the shooting, which took place outside in a school courtyard. The campus was not put on lockdown but students were told to remain alert and stay inside.
