Today, Joe Belfiore confirmed that the Microsoft Launcher has exited beta and it is gradually rolling out to the existing users, it might take a couple of days or weeks for the launcher to get updated on all Android devices.

"We welcome the opportunity to continue to work with the Dutch DPA on their comments related to Windows 10 Home and Pro, and we will continue to cooperate with the DPA to find appropriate solutions", said Rogers. If you use the Microsoft Edge browser on your PC and install the Edge preview for Android, your favorites and reading list will by synced across all your devices. Microsoft needs to make it clear to users that they can reject the data collection as well. She also goes on to state that just as Microsoft has worked with French and Swiss data protection agencies to tweak its Windows 10 telemetry settings to comply with local ordinances, it is also willing to work with the Dutch DPA.

"Due to Microsoft's approach users lack control of their data", claims the DPA. Microsoft Edge allows you to perform searches using your voice even though the app won't ask you for microphone access when you initially launch it, though this particular functionality is still highly experimental in nature and rather slow to recognize when you have actually stopped talking unless you're in a perfectly quiet environment, so even dictating your query could make you lose your patience and tap the microphone button to confirm it because the app won't be able to figure out it's time to stop listening and start working. Do people know about this, do they want this? It will use Chrome's Blink engine for Android.

Microsoft Edge Preview for Android offers a range of features that you may have appreciated on its desktop client. Microsoft Edge will pull up the reading and information right onto your screen. In other words, Microsoft's telemetry settings are set at the default level upon installation of Windows 10, and that also means that personalized advertisements and recommendations are sprinkled throughout the operating system. Facebook used to do something similar by making users' posts more public nearly every time it updated its privacy policy. The Edge is now moving out from the home and making its place in Android and iOS.
