Xiaomi has paid attention to details with the Mi Notebook Pro. It has new "symmetrical cooling design" that cools it down this laptop more efficiently. The Mi Notebook Pro was announced at Xiaomi's event in China today. Let's hope it doesn't make much noise. With 15.9 mm thickness, the Mi Notebook Pro weighs 1.95 KG. The screen is protected by Corning's Gorilla Glass 3 and seems rather durable, in addition to being able to display around 72 percent of the NTSC color gamut. Thus, a seven connectors, while the MacBook Pro five.
The company has introduced this new generation laptops via their official Twitter handle with a few images of this stunning Mi Notebook Pro laptop. It also has a large touchpad and a full-size keyboard. The device is about 1.95 kgs weight.
The notebook features a 15-5-inch display which is more than the latest MacBook Pro. Each key is evenly spaced out and is also backlit.
- The Mi Notebook Pro supports Dolby sound.
The battery promises 60Wh of power, along with support for 1C quick charge. On-board, are also a pair of capable Harman Infinity speakers, an aluminium chassis. In other words, it is all fancy stuff although how well it works is something that we can say only after using the notebook. Taking at a dig at apple, it comes with a sd card reader, USB type c ports and USB 3.0 ports. A fingerprint sensor built into the trackpad for user authentication is present as well. You get the combination of i7 processor/16GB RAM, i7 processor/8GB RAM and i5 processor with 8GB RAM. Core i7 and 8GB RAM and Core i5 with 8GB RAM.
8GB/16GB RAM and 256GB SSD storage. A NVIDIA GeForce MX150 is also included but it will certainly not deliver earth-shattering graphics performance "out of the box".
As noted earlier, there is no guarantee that Xiaomi will launch the Mi Notebook in India, although if it does chances are that it may find a number of takers. That would be a nice round price for it to go on sale in the United States, and although we don't have an official release date just yet, we'd expect to see it here before the holidays.
