Animal lovers and The Sims 4 players will be pleased to hear that a Cats & Dogs expansion will be released on 10 November.
As the pack's title suggests, The Sims 4 Cats & Dogs will allow players to take care of virtual pets, along with the virtual people they already manage. Sure, there may be some fundamental changes to the structure of the game (Sims 2 introduced aging and 3 removed loading screens), but you would think simple things like animal companions and swimming pools would be present in every entry past the first game. Players will be able to give their Sims a friendly pet (for two) for their daily virtual lives. A "Create A Pet" tool allows them to design their purr-fect pet, while choosing from a large variety of breeds or even mixing and matching.
Pet creation works similar to how players create and modify Sims in the game, where they can edit nearly every aspect of a cat or dog, down to the breed and even patterns on their fur. You can join the veterinarian career path, though, and end up treating other Sims' sick animals.
Lastly, The Sims 4 Cats & Dogs will expand The Sims 4 with the attractive coastal shores of a brand-new world, Brindleton Bay. There's also a new area being added to the world titled Bindleton Bay, with areas to play with pets and take walks.
The Sims 4 is getting more adorable.
Cats & Dogs - will it create mass hysteria?
