Michael Owen predicts Burnley v West Ham United

West Ham travel away to Burnley for the final fixture of the season this weekend and will be happy to see the back of a campaign that promised so much but delivered so little.

Sean Dyche's men have emerged victorious in ten of their 18 home matches to date, although their form has dipped in recent weeks, as they have won just one of their last five home games.

"We don't need squad players", the West Ham manager said. We were without eight players but still had a decent team so that shows that squad-wise, with the quantity of the players, we are okay. Still we can improve our position.

"But hopefully we are going to be successful in finishing those transfers".

Hammers legend Sir Trevor Brooking suggested that the club should sign Manchester City full-back Pablo Zabaleta once the Argentine is out of contract at the Etihad Stadium, claiming that his leadership qualities would benefit the team. "Most of the players are linked with West Ham, the big majority of those are rumours, there's no truth in them".

"We have leaders on our team", Bilic said. The other good bet is both teams to score since that looks likely but betting on the outright result seems like the better play.

"Starting with Mark Noble of course who is a great captain, (James) Collins, (Winston) Reid, (Andy) Carroll when he was there".

We are getting a good enough price on West Ham to win this game and as a result that is my bet.

Having started the season as West Ham's first-choice goalkeeper a string of poor displays saw Adrian lose his place in the side to Darren Randolph.

"Adrian is out of contract but we have an option, and we activated that option", Sky Sports report the Hammers boss as saying.
